I’m Two! Birthday Bumper Beauty Giveaway! Worth over £90!

It’s my blog birthday!  Well, actually it was last month but hey – better late than never right?

I am really bad at being reflective so I won’t say much on that other than to say that my blog has changed as my life has changed and my life has likewise changed because of my blog and continues to do so.  This little website has caused me a lot of stress at times but it’s largely been pleasurable.  It has been a massive learning curve that has lead to some amazing experiences and introduced me to some fantastic friends.  Overall it has kept me sane on what has been a strange two years.

When I started this blog I had been forced to move back to my parents and was unemployed – now I am still at my parents and working and I can honestly say that, without my blog, I don’t know where my mental health would be.  Being a 27 year old and living at your parents in your old home-town that you tried to cut all ties to can be hard work, but coming home and knowing I have something creative to work on that I have complete ownership of has been a huge help.  I often doubt myself on my blog and wonder if it’s worth it. I sometimes worry about the quality of my writing and if my blog even gets read.  Most of all I am sure I am not good enough and that everyone else’s blog is better in one way or another.  However two years on I have come to realise that I am proud of my little blog and there’s really no need to make any comparisons.  So here I am, two years later, still typing away on what has become my longest running project!  I want to thank all my followers (old and new) and anyone who has ever read my blog, left a comment, tweeted me or interacted with me in any way – you have all contributed to making a happy Kariss!  Here’s to another two years!
