Southend-on-Sea

Myself and Harry went to explore Southend-on-Sea last weekend after deciding we wanted a day out at the seaside.  We chose Southend because it was the closest to where Harry lives and has the reputation of being the quintessential British seaside town.  So despite the terrible forecast, we took off to check out the sights.

We got lucky and it was actually a really hot day!  It looked just like we were abroad and I was really surprised by Southend-on-Sea.  It wasn’t nearly as tacky as the seaside town’s near me up north and I adore the retro signage.
