Last weekend my family and I headed up to Chatsworth House for a tour of the house and gardens. It’s not the cheapest stately home at £18 but it was defiantly worth it!
I was surprised at how popular it was, there must have been 100’s of people throughout the grounds, most with dogs and children in tow as the grounds are huge with a farm and playground that we didn’t get the chance to get to and it’s great for walking. My dad even surprised us with afternoon tea! If I’m honest, the afternoon tea wasn’t the greatest I’ve had and the staff were a little rude and unhelpful, so I wouldn’t rush to do that part again. This Christmas Chatsworth House is having an Alice in Wonderland theme so I will defiantly be going back for a visit!
