The good thing about having a dog is that they make you leave the house, even when sometimes you would rather be wrapped up warm, eating chocolates and playing Xbox. Because of this, you see the seasons change and as the snow fell down on us pretty heavily over the weekend, we decided to make it a family affair and go on a walks in Barnsley.
We went pretty much the same way I walked when I wrote this post and yet it all looks so different, it’s a cliche’ but snow really does make everything look magical! We all donned our winter gear and headed out in the snow to try and walk off some of our Christmas indulgence ( minus my youngest sister, who is a typical teenager, opted to say in bed). We were able to share in the dog’s excitement and see the beautiful countryside near my house from a different perspective.
Are you a fan of the snow? Or are you desperately waiting for it to leave? I need to do more walks in Barnsley.
