So I have some kind of big news…..

Let me tell you, I am the worst at keeping things to myself!  I’ve been sat on this for a while and I’ve been desperate to share it with you, I’ve even hinted a few times in the #GirlGang chats, and now finaly I can tell you guys!

As you may not know I currently work for a small publishers in Yorkshire, doing all things ebook related and a bit of website maintenance stuff too,  My official title is Digital Publishing Manager.  Well I’ve been offered a job with Bloomsbury, this time around I’ll be Ebook Production Controller.  I’s not too dissimilar to what I do now except this time I’ll be just dong the production side, I’ll never have to write a metadata again!

So sometime in Mid-January I will be moving to London, I’ll be staying at my sisters for a month or two before I find my own place.  I don’t know if this will effect my blog at all so I ask you to be patience while you follow me on this new journey.

It’s crazy to think that when I started this blog two and half years ago I had just moved back to my parents and was looking for a career change.  Within 3 months of starting this blog I had done just that, switching from theatre to publishing, and it as all very new and scary for me.  Just being in an office environment took a lot of adjusting, and I had moved back home, to a place where I no longer knew anyone.  Since then I have made some fantastic friends around Yorkshire through this blog, and I am sad to leave that behind, but I know we will stay on touch.

So here’s to 2016, I’ve been keeping out of my blog life but towards the end of this year I’ve had some really awful, personal and family things to contend with.  It’s been one of the hardest times of my life, but things are looking up!  Let’s hope 2016 brings something special for all of us!
