I love a green midi dress in the Autumn and Winter seasons. With my signature vintage vibes the deep green, burgundy and mustard colourways just can’t be beaten. Jewel tones are a classic at this time of year for a reason! So when Zapaka reached out to me to see if I wanted to try one of their dresses from their vintage-inspired collection I knew I would have to go with something in this colour pallet and after a long time searching their website trying to narrow down my choice I eventually settled on this green midi dress.
The dress shape is fairly simplistic which fits in with the typical 1950’s vintage fit and flare style and makes this dress a classic. I’m an absolute sucker for a sweetheart neckline, I think it just adds a touch of sweetness and glamour to any dress, and this one sits on me perfectly. It comes with a belt but no belt loops which means if you choose not to wear it, as I often don’t, it doesn’t look like there is anything missing. The capped sleeves are also really sweet and makes for a simple yet classic dress style.

The material is light and stretchy, making it one of the most comfortable dresses I own and you don’t need to iron it. It’s 98% cotton and 2% elastane and it is this elastane that makes all the difference. These features alone mean it is now quickly become one of my most reached for dress, comfort and ease are always high on my list when it comes to clothing!
I was a bit worried about the sizing before the dress arrived as I have changed size recently and I’ve never ordered from this company before but thankfully the fit is perfect, even on my short body. The stretchiness of the fabric really helps it to hug the body in a way that is still flattering.
I only got this dress a few weeks ago and I’ve already worn it multiple times, it is definitely one of my new faves and I will 100% be ordering from Zapaka again in the near future. Have you ever ordered from this brand? Is a green midi dress a staple in your Winter wardrobe?
