Mickey Mouse Disneybound at Disneyland Paris

I’ve done a post recently on what I wore on my 30th Birthday trip to Disneyland California so I thought why not follow it up with what I wore on my most recent trip to Disneyland Paris. This not only was an outfit I loved but it was my first ever official attempt at Disneybounding, and a Mickey Mouse Disneybound no less!  I say official because I sort of accidentally did a Minnie Mouse Disneybound before I knew that was even a thing.  I can’t find those pictures as they were from sometime around 2011 but I wore a pink polka dot 1950’s style swing dress and some matching clip-in Minnie’s ears on a trip to Walt Dinsey World and it was the first time I’ve heard the term, as cast members mentioned it to me throughout the park

This time it was an intentional effort, and yet it came together so easily!  I adored this look, and I’d love to know what you thought:

My Mickey Mouse Disneybound all started with this awesome skirt that I saw it on Lotte’s Instagram and I knew I had to pick it up, especially as it was handmade and only £20!  I paid an extra £5 for pockets because who doesn’t love pockets!  I love supporting smaller creators where I can and this a no-brainer, I recommend checking out her site for all kinds of Disney clothing.

I knew I needed to base the rest of the outfit around this so I went with a simple long sleeve black t-shirt and black tights, both of which are from Primark, and some Minnie ears I got from Disney World many years ago (you don’t seem to be able to pick up just plain Mickey ears in many places!).  I did have some Minnie Mouse shoes I picked up in for a Disney themed fancy dress in my second year of University (which is too long to ago to think about!) but I knew they wouldn’t be comfortable for walking around the park all day in so I instead went for my trusty bright yellow New Balance trainers for comfort and colour.

It was a simple idea but I was really pleased with how this came out.  The only thing I’d really love to add to finish it off would be a yellow bow tie.
