La Clique at the Leicester Square Spiegeltent

 

A theatrical phenomenon, a unique and inspirational night of live entertainment – La Clique has performed both within and without The Famous Spiegeltent in London, Edinburgh, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brighton, Montreal and New York.

Created by Spiegeltent Productions, La Clique is an inspired melange of cabaret, new burlesque, circus and contemporary vaudeville. It is sexy, funny, dangerous and has been the torchbearer for nearly 15 years.

This festive season, you’re invited once again, to step inside the spectacular Spiegeltent for a night of laughs, gasps and can’t believe your eyes moments. LA CLIQUE, the multi-award-winning, genre-defining, unmissable cabaret returns to the West End, for nine weeks only in London’s Leicester Square.

La Clique is a modern take on the traditional circus event, mixing in elements of burlesque and cabaret for good measure.  This adults-only show takes the audience on a ride as acts seamlessly transition from watching death-defying areal stunts to humorous clownery to some acts that are truly unique and I don’t want to spoil the surprise as to just what they are…  It’s a glittery, camp and at times shocking performance that has to be witnessed for yourself.

The cast is relatively small for a show of this type, yet each performer is so talented you won’t notice until you see them take their final bows.   The seamless transitions between performers and the way they cast multi-role and work together helps make the show feel seamless.  Each performer shows off their skills in a variety of ways, each as impressive as the last all while showing off their unique personalities.
