Roadtrips in Wales

Brecon Beacons National Park is ideal for those looking for outdoor relaxation. The area provides plenty of fishing opportunities, including kayaking, rock climbing, waterfalls and caves to explore. Snowdonia National Park is located at the end of the Cambrian Way and is one of Wale’s most famous locations for adventure and outdoor activities. Largely composed of mountains, Snowdonia provides spectacular views over the landscape.

Many decide to drive along the coastal route. With views over the sea, rugged cliffs and long sandy beaches, the Welsh coast is simply magical. Dotted with small traditional fishing towns, Aberystwyth along the coastal road is such a town. With pubs and quaint coffee houses, this town is a great place to relax and recharge. Heading north, pop over to Anglesey – an island worth exploring with plenty of historical sites, castles, a lighthouse and a museum.

Once in north Wales, located on the River Dulas Estuary, we recommend visiting the small fishing town of Llanddulas. This traditional town is very peaceful and comprises numerous sandy beaches and coastal walkways – the perfect escape from city life and ideal for the whole family. The town itself has some traditional shops and pubs to enjoy and eat in.
