After the success of 2023’s sell-out tour, the UK’s number one vocal harmony group The
Overtones are bringing back the Good Times Christmas Tour for 2024. The multi-platinum
selling group will spread the Christmas spirit across the UK with their highly anticipated annual
tour.
I first became aware of The Overtones after the release of their 2010 album Good Ol’ Fashioned Love. Despite being a metalcore and pop-punk girl through and through, the vintage side of my music taste that adores some good-fashioned 1950s rock and roll has long admired their covers of songs from this era, as well as their hit self-originated song Gambling Man.
So when I was invited to check out their current Good Times Christmas Tour at Indigo inside the O2 Arena I knew I had to go down and check out their modern take on do-wop for myself.
After singer and Britain and America’s Got Tallent All-Star’s contestant Tom Ball expertly warmed up the crowd, The Overtones hit the stage with the upbeat classic I’m Still Standing to get the crowd going. Soon the crowd were on their feet as they mixed some of their original songs with blues classics and songs from across the eras, with some Christmas tunes mixed in of course!
With their cheeky but wholesome banter, the boys prove to be a hit with the audience as the atmosphere is sparking as they careen through their set. With 24 songs in total, The Overtones really pack in the hits that are sure to leave the audience singing along and dancing in their seats.
The Overtones finish their current Christmas tour in mid-December before heading back out on tour in Spring 2025, tickets are available on their website.

Tickets were gifted, all words and opinions are my own.
