Tower of London Poppies

Just a quick Sunday post so I could share these photos with you.  Back in November, not long after remembrance day, myself and my parents took a trip to The Tower of London to take a look at poppies just before they were taken away for good.  At this point, some of them were gone already but it still had a really breathtaking effect, it’s had to comprehend the sheer amount of lives lost in World War One but this is possibly the closest you can get to visualising it.  It is a very fitting tribute.  You can find out more information about the poppies and the Tower of London here.
