Sorry It's been quiet around here, on top of being ill, away with work and looking after the dog while my parents where away, my phone broke. Well when I say my phone broke I mean I dropped it in water....and left it there for 2 hours! A long story short I unknowingly dropped it in a bucket of water, and didn't realise as I was watching a film. Needless to say that no matter how much rice I buried it in it's pretty dead and thanks to my crappy insurance it's going to be weeks before I get my READ the POST

Books of 2014: Part 1
That's right I am continuing this in the new year! One slight change though, I will be doing this throughout the year every time I've read 5 books. This should make it less stressful for me then last year when I tried to cram 42 book reviews into one month (and failed miserably). The Olympic Games in Russia: The Good Guys
In case you are unaware, being gay in russia is not fun. In fact, it's one of the most dangerous places in the world to be homosexual. They are harassed, beaten, can loose their jobs and children, all for being born gay. What makes it worse is that the law seems to back these people up, turning a blind eye to the violence and stopping even neutral references to being gay by law, so there is no way for people to speak up without threat of arrest (at the least).
