So a couple of weeks ago me and my friends clare and Leann of Manga and Anime Maniac decided to go into Leeds and grab some food and drinks at two places Leann had visited previously. We hadn’t seen each other for a while and Leeds is only a short train ride from my home town so it seemed like the perfect opportunity for a catch up!
First off we went to Little Tokyo
This restaurant doesn’t look that great from the front, but inside the decor inside is amazing.

Theres was a bridge over a Koi carp pond to where we were sat, traditional wooden benches with cushions (these were sunk into the ground, giving the same impression of being sat on the floor but much more comfortable thankfully). Inside it looked like a typical Japanese garden.
The food was lovely also, I had a dumpling starter and chilli chicken ramen for my main meal. All of it was made fresh, tasted great and wasn’t too pricey and theres an emphasis on the food being healthy.
After this we headed over to The Alchemist

This place is amazing, it was very busy with it being the weekend but we still managed to enjoy our bubblegum daiquiri’s (complete with popping candy) from the outside terrace looking over Leeds. The decor is really modern and classy with the alchemist theme running thorough out. The food also looks amazing, and I think i’ll defiantly book in and try it sometime, as well as the Mad Hatter’s tea party sharing cocktail. Might have convince Amy and jess to come here before we see Jimmy Eat World next month!
