Given the current difficulty with traveling abroad I’ve been forced to slow down and explore more of the UK. As much as I’ve loved this unexpected opportunity it hasn’t stopped me craving to go further afield. What this unexpected break has done is give me the opportunity to reflect on all the travel memories I’ve made over the years and it’s made me realise just how fragile these memories can be. I’ve lost images from my phone before so easily and being home so much more has left me wanting to add these important memories to my home space as a daily reminder of all that I have seen. I’ve moved back home to Yorkshire temporarily and so when I do head back to London I will be creating a new space from scratch, so it seemed the perfect time to get something to take back with me. So when My-Picture.co.uk reached out to see if I wanted to get some of these precious memories made permanent I knew I would have to say yes.
My-Picture.co.uk offer a great range of products to allow you to keep your memories close to home. Whilst they are most known for their canvas prints, it was their wooden prints which I was initially drawn to. I think they are really stylish and would look great for naturalistic and beach shots. I also considered getting some images created on some of their more practical home wear like a rug, blanket or a fun puzzle. If I was still working in the office I would definitely have made myself a calendar with all my favourite travel photos to keep myself motivated throughout the year. They now even have the ability to print your photos on to face masks!

In the end however it was the MixPix that won me over. These lightweight and vibrant tile images are perfect for creating a feature wall of travel photos which is exactly what i’m planning using them for! They are 20cm x 20cm which is just right size to be able to fill a wall with them, I got 15 so far and I’m hoping I can get one for every country I’ve been to eventually! The rich colours really fit to my style of photography which you will know if you follow my Instagram and their super lightweight design make it perfect if you are in rented accommodation like I will be. The magnetic sticky pads that come with them allow them to be taken down easily if you move or just when you want to rearrange them into a new pattern.
If you like these MixPix as much as I do I’ve got a special offer to get you started, simply follow this link to get up to 5 free MixPix photo tiles from My-Picture.co.uk. What will you be getting to display your favourite travel memories?
